And so the silly season countdown begins and as the pressure to buy each and every person in your life something magical and meaningful builds, we feel it’s just as important to put the same effort into your own wish-list (self-centered? Us? Never!). Let’s face it, come Christmas morning you may as well be opening something you’ve longingly lusted after for months, even if it does mean compromising on the whole element-of-surprise. Household appliances, ‘sensible’ knitwear and dare we say it socks, have no place under the tree. Also, speaking from experience, the idea of a wish-list is something that’s often just as much appreciated by boyfriends, husbands and brothers- within reason (did someone say Mercedes?) Let’s remember Santa’s purse strings are bordering on threadbare this year. Over the coming weeks we’ll be trying and reviewing some of our ‘most-wanted’ list, some old classics and others hot off the shelves for Christmas 2012. Suggestions Welcome!
