Having relatively dry skin cleansing oils are my best friend. After spending my teenage years abusing my poor face with alcohol laced cleansing wipes convinced I was doing no harm, I'm now trying to make up for it with anything with nourishing properties and lately that seems to involve a lot in the form of oils. The other plus for me is anything that claims to be speedy- 15 seconds to take my face off isn't bad going when my warm bed awaits after a long day!
On applying a few pumps of L'Oreal Skin Perfection: 15 Second Miracle Cleansing Oil to dry skin and working into lids and lashes especially the results were good- following a warm rinse even waterproof mascara was removed leaving clean, soft, skin with no tightness or tingling you sometimes get from harsher cleansers, and zero greasy residue. I love that it's a pump style bottle; it's the most hygenic and really quick. Having trialed on both 'barely there' make-up (as in what's left after a 14-hour day) and full on Saturday night make-up (waterproof mascara, gel liner- the works)- the latter with the help of a muslin face cloth, both results were nothing short of squeeky clean.
My only complaint was not being a huge fan of the 'light and fruity' scent- it brings me right back to my watermelon scented markers in senior infants for some reason- a little to manufactured a fragrance for me but again that's just personal preference Priced around the €12 mark in most chemists and supermarkets, it's currently on promotion at Boots for €7.19. As far as supermarket skincare goes this is a good one - well worth tossing in your trolley!
