As we hit the height of summer, July's Birchbox is fittingly themed around Sun, Sea & Sand complete with quirky beach themed postcards. In all honesty, it was never really going to measure up to the Beautyblender excitement of last month, but there are still a few newcomers that spark my interest and this months haul remains far from disappointing. July's line up as follows, left to right:
LAQA & Co | Sheer Lip Lube in Bees Knees €13.30 A gorgeous little lip crayon in a soft pink, I literally eat through lip crayons so am always excited to try a new one. Sheer pigment with a gloss finish.
Gilchrist & Soames | English Spa Sea Kelp Extract Mineral Bath €14.20 Boasting all the marine properties of sea kelp this nutrient dense foamy gel claims an instant mineral bath when poured under hot running water.
Ultradex | Oral Spray *Lifestyle Extra* €4.60 A handy pocket spray for minty fresh breath on the go. 100% free from alcohol & sugar, vegan friendly.
Weleda | Millet Nourishing Shampoo €11.30 Another vegan friendly offering boasting lots of organic goodness in the form of macademia nut oil and sage, a nutrient dense shampoo for normal hair.
Whish | Three Wishes Lavender Body Butter (*already a fast new favourite) €17.75 With a whipped cream texture and a scent that would lull you into a nap, this has to be my pick of the box. Miraculously winning over this dry oil addict, Three wishes Lavender Body Butter contains Organic Aloe, Organic Raspberry Butter, and Organic Shea Butter to pretty much guarantee silky soft skin.
Balance Me | Wonder Eye Cream €25.25 A blend of virgin coconut, rosehip and carrot oil to soften skin, combined with the smoothing properties of chamomile and cucumber oil with non-alcohol witch hazel and my favourite super ingredient hyaluronic acid for a plumping effect. I've been on the lookout for a new decent eye-cream, so am excited to trial this one.
