Beauty Unboxed: My September Birchbox

September Birchbox Review

It’s Birchbox time again! I’m getting beauty boxes almost two years now and still love getting that Parcel Motel text that my box of beauty goodies have arrived. The only thing I’m finding is that things are so busy lately I’ve a stack of yet-to-be-used beauty boxes building up and causing yet more clutter in our teeny tiny apartment. I’m half considering cancelling my subscriptions if I don’t get to start trialing my growing mountain of beauty samples. That’s a decision for another day! Septembers box has a cute-as-button, bright and cheery ‘Happy Days’ theme, with a pink and green patterned box and a line-up that looks like this (Clockwise from top left):

Benefit ‘It’s Potent’ Eye Cream £25.50/€35: A ‘peptide packed’ formula to work its magic on fine lines and dark circles- I’ve yet to fall in love with a decent eye-cream so am looking forward to trying this most.

Korres Citrus Shower Gel £8/€10: Hydrating body wash with a wake-up citrus scent- citrus ain’t my thing but I do generally like Korres products, handy for travel.

Skin & Co. Truffle Therapy Serum £42/€54: Claims to improve skins firmness and restore a healthy glow with truffle extract to protect from free radicals.

Urban fruit ‘Magnificent Mango’ Snack Pack: A 100% fruit snack pack to get in the way of you and a Mars bar.

Agave Healing Oil Treatment from £16/€20  : A lightweight oil that works best warmed first between your palms and worked root to tip to build shine and enhance colour. Tiny little bottle handy for handbags.

Model Co Lip Lacquer in ‘Viva’ £15/€19: Long lasting colour and hydration in a gorgeous peachy pink - I’m not big on glosses but this colour couldn’t be more my taste.

Has anyone got their Glossybox or Chic Treat Club box this month yet? How did Birchbox measure up?

B.xx
