October’s Birchbox has arrived! In aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this month’s box has teamed up with CoppaFeel and is pink themed and especially amazing. There’s a definite ‘get organised’ vibe to this month also, complete with a monthly planner and pink lipstick shaped pen. Also boxed up this month is some great info on all you need to know about early detection and self-examination, the most important reason to CoppaFeel! This month’s box looks a little like this...
(Clockwise from top left)
Birchbox Lipstick Pen: Cute as a button and handy handbag essential.
Cattier|Pink Clay Face Mask, €5.36: I got not one but two of these and am excited to try them, having not been quite sold on the Glam Glow trend, I’m constantly trying out new face masks and this pink clay boasts aloe vera and illuminating properties- I’m keeping this for my next bad hangover!
Shaveworks |The Cool Fix, €13.88: A post-shave fix for sensitive skin claiming to work its magic on ingrown hairs, redness and bumps. Complete with cute retro packaging this gel lotion contains strong exfoliating agents on top of some impressive anti-irritant properties.
Pixi by Petra| Shea Butter Lip Balm, €10.99: I’m a big fan of Pixi and this gorgeous full-size shea butter lip balm has a subtle rose tint that gives the loveliest lightweight wash of colour.
KMS California|FREE SHAPE Hot Flex Crème €19.56: A creamy hair smoothing solution with a sweet-shop scent. KMS is a new brand to me and I definitely fall into the ‘course and unruly’ hair type they claim to work magic on so it’s right up my alley. Extra points here for added heat and styling protection.
Meaningful Beauty|Anti-Ageing Wrinkle Smoothing Capsules €50.50: I’m actually delighted to have bagged this one- I’ve been really interested in this brand created by Cindy Crawford and Dr. Sebagh. These little capsules work on plumping the skin and targeting fine lines… you couldn’t really ask for a better spokeswomen than Cindy, in fairness. My favourite from this month’s box for sure and I think these might just warrant their own review soon!
