Now that Autumn has truly started, the days are colder and the radiators have been turned up slightly it is time to up the skincare game. In summer I tend to avoid heavy oils and rich creams but come September my skin just can't get enough.
I have recently been trying out different face oils and these three really stood out for me.
Kiehls Daily Reviving Concentrate is a gorgeous daytime oil that is light yet nourishing. Enriched with natural ingredients, Ginger Root, Sunflower Oil & Tamanu Oil it claims to help skin look radiant and banish signs of dullness and fatigue. To banish the signs of fatigue on my face I think plastic surgery would have to be involved but the Concentrate definitely adds to the glow and improves skin texture without feeling greasy and making my makeup slide off. This is the first oil I have used every morning and I am very impressed!
Second up is a new facial oil from The Body Shop new range Oils Of Life. I love the whole range, it is very luxurious, the glass jars & bottles are heavy and the packaging is beautiful. I am even more impressed with the product inside! Formulated with 99% natural oils it is a potent oil that feels fabulous. The formula effortlessly melts onto skin leaving a non-sticky, soft finish. It is very nourishing and I love using it in my nighttime routine or for a pampering facial massage!
The Body Shop Oils of Life Facial oil* available from September (€48 for 30ml)
Last but most definitely not least is an old favourite - the Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +. The Trilogy Rosehip Oil is an old faithful that is always present in my skincare stash and I wouldn't want to be without it. The Antioxidant + is just a slight upgrade that combines the benefits of Trilogy's award-winning Certified Organic Rosehip Oil, plus the addition of red berry super antioxidants for a super charged nourishing oil. It is great for all skin types and I highly recommend it when your skin feels very dry and in need of a rescue.
