It's been a long time coming but finally, I have empties! Having an unreasonably large makeup kit and skincare collection, I generally jump from product to product as the mood takes me, and so it's usually a rare (or at least lengthy) occasion when I completely empty a product from start to finish and am left wanting more. I always think it's the gold seal of approval when you're squeezing a bottle to get every last remaining drop out and especially when it ends up being a repurchase.
There's a lot on offer in the beauty world and brands are relaunching new and improved products every day, a lot of which we're lucky enough to get to trial. So it's only products that I truly love which I'll go for seconds on.
So alongside my usual autumn makeup bag updates (hello Charlotte Tilbury Glastonberry lipstick), these are the empties I can't get enough of and plan on restocking:
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation | You can read the full review here but to sum it up in one line, Too Faced Born This Way Foundation is my current Holy Grail. I generally switch foundations a lot but since getting my hands on this have used it non-stop. I can get enough of the oil free, coconut water and hyaluronic acid combo which really plumps and brightens the skin. Available from larger Debenhams stores, I'm actually lost now this bottle is empty! I'll definitely be repurchasing later this week.
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil | I'm a lazy moisturiser, mainly down to hating the greasy soak-in few minutes before getting dressed. Nuxe dry body oil not only hydrates skin brilliantly, but soaks in immediately and smells amazing. I also get very sensitive skin on my legs after shaving and this product does wonders for that. It's very widely available in pharmacies nationwide and now a staple in my bathroom.
Armani Maestro Liquid Summer Bronzer | I picked this little treat up last summer and love it for creating a golden glow without the heaviness of a powder bronzer. Its particularly great if you wear self-tan don't apply to the face area (or just naturally lift it from this area with daily cleansing). Truth be told there was a spillage situation which contributed to my now empty bottle, but I adore this product and need it in my makeup bag again.
Tom Ford lipstick in Spanish Pink | This was intended to be a one-off splurge with a BT's gift card I'd received, I mean who has the guts of fifty quid to drop on a lipstick? Turns out I've now created a Tom Ford monster and can't get enough of this perfect nude lipstick - to the extent that I went out and bought a travel lip brush to really scrape out every last bit before having to part with a serious chunk of change to refill - just look at the state of the poor beaten packaging in that picture! My reasoning is better to have one very beautiful (if overpriced) lipstick I wear to death, than three that I barely touch.
Indeed Labs Hydraluron | No major surprise seeing as we're literally obsessed with hyaluronic acid! This holy grail skincare gem is applied post-cleanse but pre-serum or moisturiser to really magnify the effects of whatever you're putting on your skin. Holding up to 1000 times its weight in water, it really plumps the skin and minimises any fine lines that might be surfacing. I can't be without this one so will definitely be stocking up again.
