Topshop Beauty Picks

Who doesn't love Topshop? I've been firmly on team Topshop since about sixteen. With celeb collaborations and boutique concessions in more recent years, it's remained one of my high-street favourites. Being a self-confessed beauty snob though, I'd rarely have gotten overly excited about the Topshop Beauty range.

I've always had a thing for Topshop nail varnishes, they've such a huge colour selection (and I'm a sucker for the polka dot trim) but hadn't really ventured much further than that. It was actually a friend's gorgeous highlighter from Topshop that prompted me to try out a few bits, and I've become a little obsessed since... having gotten the chance to preview their latest offerings, there'ssome little gems arriving in stores soon.

Topshop Hair Glitter

First things first; if you're off to Electric Picnic this weekend then you need to get your hands on Topshop's Hair Glitter because let's face it, opportunities to sprinkle this stuff all over your hair are limited. Available in iridescent whitish-pink, and also gold (pictured above) these tiny metallic hexagons are the most fun hair product ever, they add gorgeous flecks of light to your hair and that's it - so simple!

If festival sparkle is your thing, then the new glitter liner (€10.00) also needs to be added to your makeup arsenal. The gold is especially gorgeous against blue eyes and it's definitely something you'll take with through festival season into silly season (which isn't actually all that far away.....but we won't go there just yet!).

Topshop Red Nails

The two pillar products as far as I'm concerned are the matte lipstick in Rio Rio (€10.00) and Nails in Pillar Box - both gorgeous classic bright reds and both impressively long-lasting. I'm all about a matte lip right now and this is one of the few formulas that isn't overly drying. I always think its testament to the longevity of a lipstick when a few hand washes after swatching the colour, you're still left with a pigment stain. Next on my list is the new Liquid Lips in Decoy, a gorgeous deep berry colour, perfect for autumn.
